Milk ripeness refers to a certain state of maturity in cereals: the grains have not yet reached their full size, are still light and very soft and filled with a whitish, sweet liquid. Milk ripeness lasts about a week.
Wheat at milk maturity is particularly attractive to wild boar because it provides food and cover. During the milk ripening period, hunting wild boar directly at large wheat fields is particularly promising.
