Due to its extreme firing behavior, the cartridge is mainly suitable for sport shooting and hunting trap shooting, less so for official and tactical shooting.
The firing behavior of the high-performance cartridge is based on the high gas pressure. Depending on the laboratory and manufacturer, the pressure can be up to 2800 bar, the bullet energy about 1000 - 1800 joules.
For comparison, the maximum gas pressure for the pistol caliber 9 mm Luger is 2300 bar and the bullet energy is 350 - 750 joules.
