Mercury 870 (RRP approx. 850 euros)
The Mercury 870 repeater rifles are available in various versions with wooden, plastic stocks, and wood-look plastic stocks and are very popular due to their ease of use and reliability. The receiver of all Mercury 870 models is made from a solid piece of chrome-nickel steel, and the barrel is cold-hammered. Locking is done via two massive locking lugs directly in the chamber. On the right side of the action, there is a two-position sliding safety that acts directly on the trigger. The repeater rifle is available in various calibers from .222 Remington to 9.3 x 62. Depending on the magazine, the weapon can be loaded with 4+1 or 5+1 shots. The trigger features a set trigger for high-precision shooting performance.
Haenel Jäger 10 (RRP approx. 1500 euros)
The Haenel Jäger 10 repeater rifle impresses with its excellent price/performance ratio and is 100% "Made in Germany." The Jäger 10 is offered in various versions, from the higher-quality Timber version in wood class 4, two variants with camouflage surfaces, three varmint versions, as well as a short tracker and a precision rifle. The stock of this leading repeater rifle has a straight back, with a long German cheek piece depending on the version. The synthetic stocks are made from the latest high-tech plastic. The metal parts are matte black blued. For female hunters, the weapon is available with a special lady's stock, where the buttstock has been shortened, and the pistol grip has been placed in a steeper position. Additionally, a softer, shock-absorbing rubber cap has been added to the end of the buttstock.
