Gunfinder is a meta-search engine that helps hunters and sport shooters to quickly find the desired product at the right price. If you are the operator of an online store in the hunting sector and would like to see your products on Gunfinder, you are at the right place. Here we explain how you can integrate your store at Gunfinder.
Requirements
To be accepted at Gunfinder there are exactly two basic requirements:
- You are a gunsmith, hunting outfitter, dealer running a marketplace and
- You run your own online store where your products are sold.
If you meet both requirements, there are 3 ways we can add your products to our database.
Affiliate Feed
Affiliate marketing is a form of online marketing. A store owner provides his product database to an affiliate marketing platform. This platform in turn generates a whole new product database from your data, which it then makes available to us, i.e. Gunfinder. Gunfinder can read this database and import the products. If your products are then displayed in the Gunfinder search and ultimately clicked on, the affiliate platform can generate detailed statistics about your product sales.
Affiliate systems that are already used by Gunfinder merchants are e.g.Awin, Adcell and Belboon.

Product Data Feed
Many store solutions like Shopware or JTL-Shop already offer a so-called product feed. This means that the store exports all the products you have defined, including all their data, in a structured form and makes them available via the Internet. Gunfinder can read this export, process it and display it in the search.
If you decide to use this option, please create such a product feed in your store in advance. Then send us an email to hallo@gunfinder.de and tell us the URL to your feed.
Post directly on Gunfinder
If you like you can advertise directly on Gunfinder and offer weapons, ammunition and equipment directly online . This possibility is open to both private and commercial users. The integrated messaging system allows suppliers and interested parties to communicate directly with each other. You can advertise on Gunfinder free of charge and for an unlimited period of time.
Selection of the method
Basically, we prefer methods 1 and 2. Information that we receive via a direct data connection is usually reliable and up to date. They are therefore less subject to fluctuations.
Direct advertising is especially interesting for private sellers, because if you have a large offer, you have to advertise each weapon individually and communicate individually with interested parties. For the beginning or in individual cases, however, this can be an interesting channel for dealers who first want to approach the topic of online sales.
