Gunfinder is a meta-search engine that helps hunters and sport shooters quickly find the desired product at the right price. If you operate an online shop in the hunting sector and want your products to be visible on Gunfinder, you are in the right place. Here we explain how you can integrate your shop with Gunfinder.

Requirements

To be listed on Gunfinder, there are exactly two basic requirements:

1. You are a gunsmith, hunting outfitter, dealer, or operate a marketplace, and
2. You run your own online shop where your products are sold.

If you meet both requirements, there are 3 ways we can include your products in our database.

Affiliate Feed

Affiliate marketing is a form of online marketing. A shop operator provides an affiliate marketing platform with their product database. This platform generates a completely new product database from your data, which it then makes available to us, i.e., Gunfinder. Gunfinder can read this database and import the products. When your products are displayed in the Gunfinder search and ultimately clicked, the affiliate platform can create detailed statistics about your product sales.
Affiliate systems already used by Gunfinder dealers include, for example,  Awin, Adcell, and Belboon.

Product Data Feed

Many shop solutions like Shopware or JTL-Shop already offer a so-called product feed by default. The shop exports all the products you have defined, including all their data, in a structured form and makes them available over the internet.  An overview of all formats we support can be found here.

Directly List on Gunfinder

Anyone who wants can list directly on Gunfinder and offer weapons, ammunition, and equipment online. This option is open to both private and commercial users. Through the integrated messaging system, providers and interested parties can communicate directly with each other. Listing on Gunfinder is free for you and unlimited in time.

Choosing the Method

In general, we prefer methods 1 and 2. Information we receive through a direct data connection is usually reliable and up-to-date. Therefore, it is subject to fewer fluctuations. 

Direct listing is especially interesting for private providers, as those with a large inventory must list each weapon individually and communicate individually with interested parties. However, for beginners or in individual cases, this can be an interesting channel for dealers who want to gradually approach the topic of online sales.
