The chamber is an essential part of any firearm and is usually located at the rear end of the barrel. Only in the case of the revolver, which usually has several chamberings at the same time, they are united in the barrel.
The chamber is always designed according to the caliber (dimensions) of the cartridge to be used and serves to store the cartridge inside the weapon immediately before firing. To the rear it is closed by the breech.
