When Pinewood was founded in 1996, we hardly thought about marketing. We put all our energy into developing outdoor clothing that we wanted to wear ourselves and that should always accompany us as our favorite clothing – whether for mushroom picking, fishing, hiking, or on the hunting tower. And that’s how we have remained. We have evolved and grown. We have listened to people, thought about it, and developed new solutions. Today we are proud of our products.
Especially proud of how people feel in them. Many wear Pinewood every day – for the same reasons we do. The freedom to go out into nature. That is a freedom worth fighting for. Respect for nature has always been a part of Pinewood – and today more than ever, our attitude towards sustainability influences how we design, manufacture, package, transport, and recycle our products. Nature at our doorstep means everything to us.
Our goal is that you don’t have to think about the clothes you wear. Not in that moment. And having the right things with you is important when you don’t want to think about what you have with you. In that moment, it’s about which sausages you have with you. About the hours with the kids in the boat. About chanterelles where you least expect them. About the chance for wonderful game. Not about the clothing.
That’s what we work hard on every day, so that every detail at Pinewood is good enough that you don’t even think about it. The best marketing is that you don’t think about us at all, but only about your experience. When evening comes, the sun disappears behind the treetops, and you feel the adventures of the day in your legs and see it in the smile. You couldn’t wish for more.
