The SIG SAUER .22 caliber pistol P322 Comp comes, as the name suggests, in caliber .22. Like its larger siblings, the SIG SAUER P322 Comp features premium attributes. With a magazine capacity of 20 rounds, maximum shooting enjoyment is guaranteed. The .22 caliber sport pistol features a housing made of stainless steel and polymer. The slide of the SIG SAUER P322 Competition is made of aluminum and is specially anodized to ensure durability and protection against wear. The 4-inch barrel of the .22 caliber pistol P322 is made of carbon steel and comes with a pre-installed compensator for reduced muzzle rise of the firearm.
The compact pistol is also Optic Ready and comes with a SIG SAUER ROMEO Zero Elite Red Dot. Due to the caliber of .22, we recommend using only an ultra-light red dot sight, as a too-heavy red dot can lead to malfunctions. The SIG SAUER P322 Comp not only offers the Optic Ready feature but also a fiber optic front sight. The closed design of the pistol prevents dirt and other contaminants from entering, ensuring flawless operation under harsh environmental conditions. The installed flat trigger allows for a more even distribution of pressure on the trigger, resulting in a more precise trigger movement for better target acquisition. The SIG SAUER P322 Compensator also provides you with a sport disassembly lever with an integrated thumb rest and an extended magazine release button for even faster operation. The SIG SAUER P322 Comp semi-automatic pistol in caliber .22 lfb features a striker-fire trigger system. Unlike older trigger systems where a hammer plays the main role, a striker-fire trigger does not use a separate hammer that strikes the firing pin from the outside. Instead, the firing pin is directly controlled by the trigger pull. The safety is manually operated in the traditional way. The trigger of the SIG SAUER rimfire weapon is a single action only trigger. The compact-sized grip module is textured, providing a non-slip hold. An M1913 Picatinny rail is integrated at the bottom. The semi-automatic weapon offers a completely new and high-quality look in the realm of small caliber firearms.
To ensure smooth and safe operation of the .22 pistol, it is necessary to use small caliber ammunition (rimfire ammunition) with an extra strong load. Such .22lr ammunition is referred to as "HV," which stands for High Velocity. The higher speed of the .22lr HV ammunition ensures that the projectile has greater kinetic energy, leading to improved ballistic performance. This positively affects the precision, trajectory, and penetration power of the projectile.

Die Selbstladepistole SIG SAUER P322 Comp im Kaliber .22 lfb verfügt über ein Striker-Fire-Abzugssystem. Im Gegensatz zu älteren Abzugssystemen, bei denen ein Hammer die Hauptrolle spielt, verwendet ein Striker-Fire-Abzug keinen separaten Hahn, der von außen auf den Schlagbolzen trifft. Stattdessen wird der Schlagbolzen direkt durch die Abzugsbetätigung gesteuert. Die Sicherung erfolgt klassisch manuell. Der Abzug der SIG SAUER KK-Waffe ist ein Single Action Only Abzug. Das Griffmodul in Compact-Größe ist punziert und liegt damit rutschfest in der Hand. An der Unterseite ist eine M1913 Picatinny-Schiene integriert. Die halbautomatische Waffe bietet im Bereich der Kleinkaliberwaffen einen völlig neuen und hochwertigen Look.
Um eine reibungslose und sichere Funktion der .22-Pistole zu gewährleisten, ist es erforderlich, Kleinkaliber-Munition (KK-Munition) mit einer extra starken Ladung zu verwenden. Solche .22lr-Munition wird als "HV" bezeichnet, was für High Velocity (hohe Geschwindigkeit) steht. Die höhere Geschwindigkeit der .22lr HV-Munition sorgt dafür, dass das Geschoss eine größere kinetische Energie hat, was zu einer verbesserten ballistischen Leistung führt. Dies wirkt sich positiv auf die Präzision, Flugbahn und Durchschlagskraft des Geschosses aus.
