With the Zephyr II, the Austrian traditional company Steyr Mannlicher offers a repeater for small caliber rimfire cartridges that is supposed to match a large caliber rifle in terms of optical and technical processing.
Steyr relies on a slim stock design with Bavarian cheek piece as well as the chamber grip tested by previous large caliber models, the sliding safety, and the direct trigger for the Zephyr II.
The Zephyr II has an overall length of 99.5 cm with a barrel length of 50 cm and a weight of approximately 2.65 kg. It is available from the factory in calibers 17 HMR, 22 Lfb, and 22 WMR and has a magazine capacity of five rounds.
