The Blaser F3 is a double-barreled shotgun that is widely used in both hunting and shooting sports. Blaser relies on a single trigger system for the F3, where the trigger blade is infinitely adjustable in length, and the trigger has a very "dry characteristic". The Blaser IBS® anti-double system is designed to provide a high degree of safety to the weapon by preventing manual doubling, i.e., the unintended firing of a second shot.
Another notable feature is the Blaser EBS® ejector system. Unlike most shotguns with ejectors, the ejector springs are not tensioned when closing the weapon. Instead, the ejectors are activated when firing, and the ejector springs are tensioned during the opening of the weapon. This keeps them relaxed during storage, aiming to prevent fatigue of the springs.
Furthermore, the F3 is officially shot with steel shot, allowing the use of steel shot ammunition with it.
The F3 also exhibits the high-quality craftsmanship typical of Blaser. It is available in many different variants and can be highly customized.
