Gunfinder Magazine

The B2 1-6x24 iC, perfect for driven hunts and stalking, the all-round model B2 2-12x50 iC and the large model ideal for poor visibility and long shooting distances, the B2 2.5-15x56 iC. All three models are designed and constructed with their compatibility with an attachment device in mind. Therefore, riflescopes and attachment devices were already tested as a target optics unit during product development.

The three hunting optics designed for night hunting are very attractively priced compared to the flagship models of other premium manufacturers. At first glance, they differ from the existing Blaser Optics Premium line B1.

All versions of the Blaser B2 line present themselves in silky matte black with a silver Argali. A special feature of the new riflescope line is that they were specifically designed for a short construction - this allows the weapon to be comfortably operated in conjunction with an attachment device.

A special practical hunting advantage is also offered by the optional flip cover for the objective, which can remain on the riflescope due to a special cutout when using an attachment device.  It ensures that the attachment device is always accurately aligned. When the flip cover is opened before the shot, the red dot of the reticle is automatically activated. Closing the flip cover, on the other hand, turns the red dot off again - the technology ensures objective protection and allows the shooter to concentrate 100% on delivering a proper shot. However, the difference from the B1 line is not only dependent on the design of the riflescopes: All previous Blaser Optics B1 riflescopes (B1 1-7x28 iC, B1 2.8-20x50 iC, and B1 4-20x58 iC) offer the fine precision reticle in the first image plane to achieve unique accuracy and completely avoid construction-related point of impact shifts.

In contrast, the new B2 line deliberately places the reticle in the second image plane within the 30 mm tube body. This was possible because Blaser has succeeded in reducing potential point of impact shifts to an absolute minimum through the specially short compact design.

The B2 models impress with their performance. All models feature a 6x zoom, transmission values of 94% (day) and 92% (night), a robust aluminum tube body, and hydrophobic lenses.

The riflescopes are also perfectly suitable for use without being combined with an attachment device.  The devices will be available from February 2022.
