Model S: Dieser Verschlussstopp wird beim RCS II Kurzkaliber Chassis System benötigt, um den Verschluss an die passende Stelle für AICS Typ Magazine zu halten.

Es ermöglicht auch die Verwendung von längeren Tikka T3 Model L Magazinen (.30-06 oder .300 Win. Mag. etc.) in T3 Medium Modellen, z. B. .308 Win. oder .300 WSM. Um Maximum OAL (Patronenlänge) bei langen Geschossen zu erreichen.

Model L: Dieser Verschlussstopp wird beim RCS II Langkaliber Chassis System benötigt, um den Verschluss an die passende Stelle für Voere Typ Magazine zu halten.

Beide dienen als Ersatz für verlorene oder defekte Originalverschlussstopps.
