Barnes Geschosse speziell das TTSX Geschoss ( mit Polymerspitze) besitzt einen Grundkörper aus Vollkupfer und pilzt zuverlässig auf.Mit dem TTSX-Bullet entwickelte Barnes das TSX noch einmal weiter. An der Wirkung änderte sich nichts, gewandelt hat sich die Außenballistik. Auch das Tipped Triple Shock hat eine Hohlspitze, nur bleibt sie nicht offen, sondern wird durch eine ballistische Polymerspitze verschlossen.
Die günstigere Außenform macht sich bei Distanzen über 250 Meter bemerkbar.
