Compared to the Leica Calonox Sight, the SE model forgoes wireless Bluetooth connectivity and comes with a reduced scope of delivery. All important settings can be made directly and easily on the device.
Mounting and adjusting the Calonox Sight SE to common riflescopes is designed to be simple and user-friendly. A reticle correction assists in adjusting the screen precisely to align with the riflescope. The one-piece design of the system ensures reliability and consistently precise and repeatable point of impact with the Leica Calonox Sight SE.
With a defined target size of 1.7x0.5 meters, the Leica Calonox Sight SE can detect targets at a distance of up to 2,000 meters, recognize them up to 700 meters, and unambiguously identify them up to 350 meters. The large field of view allows the hunter to keep an eye on the surroundings at all times, providing additional safety. Four color modes, including Red Hot, White Hot, Black Hot, and Rainbow, ensure high-contrast detail recognition. This allows the hunter to choose the most suitable color representation depending on the observation situation and respond even more safely. The excellent image quality with high thermal resolution results from the light-sensitive 42mm lens combined with the high-end vanadium oxide (VOx) sensor with 384x288 pixels and a pixel size of 17 μm. Leica's proprietary image processing (Leica Image Optimization - LIO™) further optimizes the image with special algorithms, resulting in detailed color rendering, outstanding contrast, and high detail resolution. These details are displayed on the OLED screen with a resolution of 1,024x768 pixels. With the Leica Calonox Sight SE, you can see and hit with confidence.
The operation of the device is simple and intuitive. It is mounted on the riflescope via an adapter and features user-friendly operation with just three buttons. Due to its cylindrical shape, the device fits perfectly in the hand and can be operated quickly and safely, even with gloves in winter.
The Leica Calonox Sight SE is equipped with a powerful battery that offers a runtime of 8 to 11 hours. A power bank can be connected via the USB interface to further extend the runtime. The battery is securely housed inside the robust casing, protecting it from mechanical impacts, cold, and weather influences.
